Brazil is known for its carnivals and all cities in Brazil have their own carnivals.
The Brazilians love to dance and their fun-loving nature is infectous!
It's all about being seen and gaining memories for life.
Natal also has a big festival outside the Mardi Gras season. Called Carnatal, held in november or december, it is different from the usual Mardi Gras parades. At Carnatal, the parade is for everyone to show off, not just the samba schools.
Three kilometers of the city's streets is closed for traffic, making a circle for the prosession. A number of big trucks, each with it's own sound system and musicians, drive around the circle of streets, followed by people singing and dancing. To participate you have to buy a pass to one of the "blocos", each "blocos" has it's own truck and it's own band.
Carnatal is one of the biggest festivals in Brazil outside of the Mardi Gras season.

In Ponta Negra there are a lot of clubs, bars, restaurants and concert venues.
It is in Ponta Negra most of the bars and discos are located.
You'll find people out having fun every day of the week!

One can choose to participate in the vibrant nightlife at the beach or you can pull a little back to one of the many bars or restaurants that are a bit on the outskirts of the city centre.
In Ponta Negra, there are the typical tourist places, but you'll also find some hidden gems.
Going to a local outdoors party or a major concert are great ways of experiencing something different and exciting!
If you go to Natal, chances are you'll be the only foreigner at the pub.
