Natal and beach life.



Natal is a big city and has everything a big city can offer.
Many in the Natal prefer to travel to the cozy city of Ponta Negra which is 5 minutes outside of Natal, which is a
big hit among tourists.

Natal does not have its own beach and the nearest good beach is located in Ponta Negra
It is in return a beautiful, 4 kilometers (!) long beach.

Natal and property

Natal is so popular that prices here will rise more than in Ponta Negra. It is in Ponta Negra most tourists would like to go on vacation.

Note: Natal is a big city and it's not good practice  referring to places that are located in Natal when in fact they are located many miles outside!
This is a trick that many agents are doing so be critical if you want to buy property. It is a fact that the most important areas are those that are rising most in price.

Short history of Natal



Natal was founded in December 1597 by the river bank Potenji.
As a result, the city got the name Natal which in Portuguese means Christmas.
Construction of the fortress "Fortress of Three Wise Kings" started the same year.
Natal has been under both Dutch and Portuguese rule.
During the 2-World War II thousands of U.S. troops lived in Natal because of the supply lines to Africa went through Natal.
These Americans have had a great impact on democracy and liberalism in Natal.
In recent decades, it is tourism that has affected Natal.
Tourists from home and abroad have discovered the comfortable climate with plenty of sun and a soothing breeze from the sea. Due to restrictive construction policies the city has not grown too quickly and has retained it's peaceful atmosphere.
